Heritage Malta is responsible for the personal information processed through this school visit booking service. This service supports educational visit requests for Heritage Malta museums, historic sites, and programmes.

When you request a visit, we collect the information shown in the booking form. This can include the school or organisation name, contact name, email address, telephone number, requested site, date and time, group size, accessibility information, and answers required by the selected site.

We use this information to check capacity, process and manage the visit request, contact you about the booking, provide operational information to the relevant site team, maintain booking records, and protect the security and reliability of the service.

Your booking is available to authorised Heritage Malta staff responsible for the selected site and to authorised administrators. Access is limited by staff role and site assignment. Service providers supporting hosting and transactional email may process information only to provide those services.

Booking information is retained only for as long as needed for visit administration, operational records, legal obligations, and the establishment or defence of claims. Records are then deleted or anonymised in line with Heritage Malta’s retention requirements.

This service currently uses essential browser storage for security, staff sign-in, and to remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics and marketing tools are not currently active. If they are introduced, they will remain off until you give the relevant consent.

Under applicable data protection law, you may have the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with Malta’s Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
