Ta’ Ħaġrat

Ta’ Ħaġrat is a compact but important megalithic temple complex at Mġarr. Its principal structure dates to the Ġgantija phase of Maltese prehistory and has a monumental concave façade opening onto a paved court. Excavations also revealed earlier pottery and evidence that the area was used before the temple was built.
