Skorba Prehistoric Site

Skorba is one of Malta’s most important prehistoric sites. Excavations revealed the remains of megalithic temple structures as well as earlier domestic buildings, providing crucial evidence for the islands’ first farming communities. Pottery found here gave its name to phases of Maltese prehistory, making Skorba central to understanding the chronology and development of early settlement.
