National Museum of Natural History

The National Museum of Natural History is housed in the 18th-century Vilhena Palace in Mdina. Its collections document the geology, palaeontology and biodiversity of the Maltese Islands. Displays include rocks and minerals, fossils, insects, shells, birds and mammals, offering an introduction to Malta’s natural environment and the scientific study of the islands.
