Gozo Museum of Archaeology

The Gozo Museum of Archaeology illustrates the cultural history of Gozo from prehistoric times to the early modern period. Its collections are housed in a 17th-century townhouse within the Citadel and include artefacts from the island’s most important archaeological sites. Displays trace Gozo’s development through the Neolithic, Phoenician, Punic, Roman, Medieval and Knights’ periods.
